Doug & Deb

Doug & Deb have always enjoyed music and creating original songs to reach people.  In 2005, they opened their basement studio to like-minded people and shared its creative atmosphere to produce music with postive messages.  It was at that time, One Body Productions was born.

Accordingly, Doug & Deb offer their cost-free ministry and support to individuals and churches who are working on creative musical projects and need assistance.  If you would like to know more, please contact Doug & Deb via the CONTACT US webpage and they will promptly reply.

Under the VIEW US webpage, you can see many of the accomplished musicians & singers who have collaborated with Doug & Deb.

Doug & Deb welcome singers & musicians who want to use their talents in studio recording sessions and/or live performances. Currently, there are several projects already underway you may be interested in joining. Again, if you have any questions and/or comments, please let us know at CONTACT US.

One particular project, "Rhyt-Hymns," represents a unique fusion of traditional church hymns with current hip hop rhythms & rap sequences.  See HEAR US for some samples of this project.

If you wish to listen to songs from their first album, One Body, please visit the HEAR US webpage.  The music was engineered, recorded, and mastered in their basement studio.

One Body Productions operates by the underlying premise that all members of the body are equally important & relevant to its purpose & function.

Accordingly, Doug & Deb seek to encourage and appropriately honor the source of all sources, our Lord, Jesus Christ, by demonstrating a genuine concern for all through music.

We look forward to hearing from you and thanks for visiting our website.

One Body Concept

Many differences exist in our world. There are different nations, cultures, languages, and beliefs.  We even look, speak and dress differently from our next-door neighbors.  Regardless of our differences, we must accept each other as equals.  We must overcome our natural tendencies, causing us to treat our neighbors unfairly just because they are unlike us. Unfortunately, this is no easy task.  It requires continuous attention. To achieve this unifying character, each day, we must pray to God and ask Him to bestow the ability to love others as ourselves.

One way we can begin to appreciate the differences in others is through music. We believe God gave people an affinity for music to 1) praise & worship Him and 2) come together as one body.  Simply put, music transcends our differences and provides an opportunity for us to harmoniously work together for God's glory.

Specifically, Paul tells us in
I Corinthians 12:12, "as the body is one and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body. Essentially, our own bodies are comprised of many parts that each look and act differently. God designed our numerous and unique parts to work together as one.  Similarly, we look different from each other, but we must all work together as one for the good of our society.

And in
Romans 12:5, Paul advises, "so, we, being many, are one body in Christ, and  individually, members of one another."  This describes our ultimate purpose in coming together as one - - to worship the sole reason we have hope and to share our hope with others.

We thank God for this opportunity to honor Him and recognize all the wonderful people He introduced to us as we continue our journey of recognizing Him. We appreciate the many rewarding relationships He enabled. God continually shows us we are capable of meeting, working with, and enjoying the company of others who are much different from ourselves. And through our differences, the
body is more complete & stronger in its resolve to serve and praise Him.

We hope this website encourages you to be steadfast in your own journey in discovering God and what He has in store for your unique gifts, talents and abilities. Remember, God has given each of us distinct passions that can ultimately, be used to develop & maintain positive relationships with other members of the
body.

In summary, welcome opportunities to associate yourself with others for the glory of God who made us uniquely different for a reason,  so that through Him, we can work together as
one body.
